Meet Irene! This adorable 2-year-old, 6-pound Chihuahua mix may be tiny, but she’s full of personality. Irene prefers to be the queen of the castle and would do best as the only dog in the home so she can soak up all the attention. She hasn’t been tested with cats and would be most comfortable with older, respectful kids.
Irene is potty-trained and does great when left alone while her foster mom is at work. She loves cuddling, sleeping right next to you, and playing with her toys. She is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, but otherwise she’s a happy, healthy little girl who’s ready to find her forever family.
